Though being very popular in Kollywood and Malayalam films, why did baby Shamili choose to make her debut in a Telugu film? Why did she agree to do Oy?

A little birdie tells us that it is the money which has drawn the actress to Tollywood. Apparently Tollywood pays its heroines much better than Tamil films and that is what is attracting Shamili to Telugu films.
