Anyone in the south Indian industry could have evaded from all other call sheets problems of other movies, to be in a Mani Ratnam movie. But Nayantara is not like that. She deferred from being in the regular filmimass by refusing, to be on the new Mani Ratnam movie ‘Raavana’. It is learned that Nayantara couldn't approve the offer of acting as mandodhari opposite Vikram in the movie, an idea initiated by Suhasini Mani Ratnam, due to her date problems.
